Reaching the 1st Place Without Increasing Budget in Google Ads against 12 competitors

The client is in a highly competitive market, where there are over 10 competitors targeting the top 3 positions in Google Ads. Until Leader Online took over, the client invested €10 per day resulting in being in 5th place, covering a search share of less than 10%.

Leader Online undertook the customisation of the Landing Page and, at the same time, the customisation of the campaign, in order to improve the quality indicators of each targeted keyword.

After a series of improvements to both the landing pages and the overall website of the client, the result was impressive regarding the Google Ads elements as well as the performance that the client saw on a daily basis.

Maintaining the same budget, the client was at the top of the list in terms of search shares, while it permanently secured 1 of the 3 first positions, and in 27% of the cases it was the 1st position.

Without changing the amount invested by the client, we were able to get them to the top of the list for the keywords they were targeting and dramatically increase the performance of the ad, which translated into phone calls and a significant growth in clientele from our client’s side.

Seeing the significant difference in performance while maintaining the same budget, the client decided to invest a larger amount by opening advertising on additional keywords. As the amount they were investing until now was overperforming, they decided to invest amounts in words with less competition, but equally important for the business activity.

Following the same logic of parameterisation on the page as well as in the ads, we managed to give the client the priority in the secondary words they targeted.
